Intro
Hello world!
This blog is the house of the Undercover Songs Podcast.
In this podcast we share with you poor, unsuspecting souls the best --and the worst-- of cover songs.
We are a team of two friends who like music and have a broad sense of humour when it comes to that subject.
We found out that both of us collect covers for fun and we both usually get a lot of mixed responses when we play them for our friends. In fact we get everything from... well, let's just say less than enthusiastic responses to roaring laughter and sheer appreciation.
We also believe that there must be a lot of people like us out there. People who appreciate the difference, people who roll over laughing at the godawful voices, people who get that a ska version of a heavy metal song can indeed be better than the original, just as well as a speed metal version of a lyrical piece can.
This is our attempt at connecting with those people and, maybe, amusing some of you along the way.
We intend to play every form of cover we can get our hands on as long as it is either a good song or a funny one.
Take a huge grain of salt before pressing play and then let the journey begin!
Above all remember that this is supposed to be fun and keep an open mind. Please keep an open mind!
The pilot episode is nearly finished and should be up in a couple of days at most.
See you then.

Hell yeah! Great Idea!
I have been obsessed for coversongs for ages as well!
Let me know if you need any suggestion - specially in metal/noise related kind of music...
;)

Olá Lina, ainda bem que gostas, é bom saber que há pessoas "do outro" lado a apreciar o que fazemos! :-)
