The day after (ok few days after but heh, who's counting?)
Hello there friends and fans of the Undercover Songs podcast!
Yes, you know who you are, the both of you... :-)
But seriously, we had an unexpected number of people talk to us and say how much they liked the idea behind the podcast and the first episode itself.
First of all, I'd like to thank all of them for taking the time to leave feedback, either in the comments or through email. You feedback and opinions are indeed appreciated so if you have anything to say please do drop us a line. Or even send in audio comments, we would certainly love to include them in the shows. Just do as Darth Vader, our fan #1 did.
One of my personal worries when we started the podcast was that even with a large (for a given value of large) collection of covers available to us, we would eventually run out of good songs as the show went on. Of course we do have our sources of new material but we don't get that much good songs all the time so it was a light worry at the back of my mind.
But then we launched episode zero and a funny thing happened: people actually pointed us towards some songs and sites where we could get them and some even asked to contribute with some songs that they have on their collections!
Well, I'm here to say to you that if you do have some song that you find particularly interesting then by all means, point us to it (or send it to us) and we will certainly consider including it in our podcast.
From the response we had to our first show I guess I can relax about the quantity aspect of it, now we just have to focus on the quality part. And do we have some good songs for you, oh boy! :-)
